Gully, performance and sound, 2026
Gully is a short perfomance capturing the repetitive rhythm of rag rug weaving using techniques passed down from my Jamaican mother. Paired with a recording of me and my late Grandmother singing as she teaches me a Jamaican folk song, the perfomance explores intergenerational exchange through both voice and making.
